Merle Gilmore is a former senior executive of Motorola having spent 30 years there when he retired in 2000. Joining Motorola in 1970 as an engineer, he held numerous senior management positions including Executive Vice President and President of the Land Mobile Products Sector; Executive Vice President and President for Europe, Middle East, and Africa; and Executive Vice President and President of the Communications Enterprise. Mr. Gilmore has served as an Industrial Partner of Ripplewood Holdings and is currently an executive partner at Siris Capital Group. He is President of LKR Technology Partners, LLC and a director of Revenew Systems, LLC and Medquist Holdings, Inc. He was previously a member of the Proxim Corp., Japan Telecom, Inc., and Mediabolic, Inc. Boards of Directors and the Chairman of the Board and a representative officer of D&M Holdings Inc. Mr. Gilmore holds a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois and an MS in electrical engineering from Florida Atlantic University. |

William Esrey is Chairman emeritus of Sprint Corporation. He served as Sprint’s chief executive officer from 1985 to 2003, and as that company’s chairman from 1990 to 2003. He also served as chairman of Japan Telecom from 2003 to 2004. Esrey is Chairman of Spectra Energy's board of directors and is a Director of General Mills. Mr. Esrey holds a BS in Economics from Denison University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. |

He joined Airvana from Motorola, where he was most recently Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Internet and Networking Group, responsible for a full line of wireline and wireless access solutions, broadband communications, corporate networking, wireless content services and platform software. Prior to Motorola, Randy spent thirteen years at Apple Computer where he held several strategic positions, including Vice President of the PowerBook Division, and Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing. Randy holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. |

Sanjeev Verma is Airvana’s Co-Founder and Executive Vice President, Corporate Development. Prior to co-Founding Airvana, Sanjeev held the position of Director of Marketing and Business Development for Broadband Networking at Motorola, where he was responsible for wireless and wireline broadband residential gateway solutions. Sanjeev holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. |

Vedat Eyuboglu is Airvana’s Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer. Prior to founding Airvana, Vedat was most recently Vice President and General Manager of Home Networking Product Operation in Motorola's Internet and Networking Group. Prior to this role, he was Vice President of Technical Staff in Research and Advanced Development at Motorola, responsible for advanced technology in high-speed communications and digital signal processing. Vedat holds over 30 patents on technologies related to high-speed modems, multimedia, and wireless communications. Vedat is a Fellow of the IEEE and holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). |

Andrew Vogel is a partner with ZelnickMedia, a firm that manages and owns interests in an array of media enterprises and technology companies. Prior to joining ZelnickMedia, Mr. Vogel worked at Ripplewood Holdings, a private equity firm where he focused on investments in the media, consumer and industrial sectors. Mr. Vogel also worked at McCown De Leeuw & Co. a private equity firm where he was responsible for investments in the consumer, building materials and health and leisure industries. Previously, Mr. Vogel was an investment banker in Lehman Brothers’ Mergers and Acquisitions group and a management consultant for McKinsey & Company. Mr.Vogel is a Director of Alloy, Airvana and Cannella Response Television. Mr. Vogel holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Wesleyan University. |

Frank Baker is a Managing Director and a founding partner of Siris Capital Group LLC ("Siris"), the predecessor fund of which was formed in 2006. Siris is a middle market private equity firm focused on deep value, controlling equity investments around special situations in the telecom, technology, and technology-enabled business service sectors. Prior to forming Siris, Mr. Baker was a managing director at Ripplewood Holdings LLC ("Ripplewood"), a global private equity firm. Mr. Baker started his career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs & Co. in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group. Mr. Baker has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from the University of Chicago. |
