Products
Airvana’s radio access products enable mobile operators meet the growing demand for high-performance mobile data services and 3G-to-4G coexistence. The IP-RAN Series consists of a combination of IP-RN 8000 base stations, IP-RNC 9000 radio network controller (RNC), and the AirVista network management system. These three elements are designed to work in conjunction with each other, and are offered as a fully integrated component of Ericsson’s CDMA Access product line.
Since its commercial introduction in 2002, the IP-RAN Series has been steadily enhanced to support the latest EV-DO standards and mobile broadband features. CDMA2000 EV-DO Rev A ensures the highest possible data performance, while Airvana’s advanced RNC clustering technology allows operators to grow their network capacity to meet the increasing demand for mobile broadband services.
